Your Comfort Is Our Priority

Appointments

It is important that you show up for your appointment on time. Being punctual will allow your doctor the appropriate amount of time needed to perform your treatment in a relaxed fashion.

Before any work is begun, the doctor will do an exam, make a diagnosis and explain to you your treatment options. In most cases treatment can be started at that visit.

The root canal treatment can usually be completed in one visit but sometimes may require two visits.

Expect to be in the office approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

There may on occasion a short delay in your visit should an unexpected patient in need of emergency treatment be fit into the schedule. As you would expect, we would do the same for you under similar circumstances.

Cancellation policy: We request at least 24 hour advance notification.

Our goal is to create an atmosphere of professionalism, trust and complete patient satisfaction.
Post Operative Considerations

It is reasonable to expect tenderness to chewing for a few days following treatment. However, ibuprofen (i.e. Advil, Motrin, etc.) or acetaminophen (Tylenol) usually relieves any discomfort. Most people return to work or normal activities immediately following their visit.

It is important that you return to your regular dentist following root canal treatment to have the tooth restored. In most instances a crown is recommended and in some cases a simple filling will be adequate.

Should you have insurance coverage we will be happy to submit your claim.
