He was raised in Syracuse and attended Nottingham High School. ![]() The doctor has been active politically in local, state and national dental organizations including serving as president of the Onondaga County Dental Society. Dr. Maloff did a General Practice Residency at SUNY where he currently teaches and serves as chief of the Endodontic Department. He also teaches at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he was chief of the Endodontic Department for over 10 years. ![]() Dr. Mark Currell received a bachelor’s degree in education from Michigan State University and his DDS degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He continued his education at the University of Detroit where he earned his master’s degree in endodontics. Dr. Currell has been a practicing endodontist in Syracuse since 1990. He is a member of the ADA and the American Association of Endodontics and has been active in many local dental organizations including president of the Onondaga County Dental Society, Cayuga County Dental Society and Syracuse Dental Seminar. The doctor instructs dental residents as an attendant in the general residency programs at St. Joseph’s and Upstate hospitals. ![]() Dr. Currell and his wife, Mary, have three daughters. His hobbies include photography, music, hiking and running. Dr. Eugene West earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University, a master’s degree from Atlanta University and received his DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also holds a master’s degree in oral biology from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. West is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontists. His distinguished career with the U.S. Army included assignments in Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Germany and finally at Fort Drum where he served as Chief of Endodontics. Outside of work Dr. West’s hobbies include photography and antiquing. He also enjoys following most sports, especially basketball and football. ![]() ![]() Dr. Lynn Brinker received her DMD at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a general practice residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She then practiced general dentistry in Colorado for ten years. Dr. Brinker received her certficate in endodontics at the Naval Post Graduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. She concurrently completed a Masters in Science program at George Washington University. She formerly was stationed at the U.S. Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut, where she was the Department Head of Endodontics. On a personal note, Dr. Brinker, along with her husband, Dr. Richard Brinker, also a dentist, are raising two children. Her hobbies include skiing, hiking, quilting and cooking. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dr. Barnhart received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Grove City College in northwestern Pennsylvania and his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon completion of school he began practicing dentistry as an officer in the US Army and remained on active duty for nine years. During his time on active duty he completed an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at Fort Lewis, Washington, and obtained his Certificate of Endodontics at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Dr. Barnhart’s last assignment was Fort Drum, NY where he served as the Chief of Endodontics. Dr. Barnhart is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has presented numerous lectures on endodontics. Dr. Barnhart and his wife, Kristen, have four young children. He enjoys a number of activities including skiing, tennis, playing guitar and digital photography. ![]() ![]() Dr. Daniel F. Morris graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Biology degree in 2002. He received his DMD and Endodontic certificate from Case Western Reserve University in 2009 and 2011 respectively, and was the Salutatorian of his dental school class as well as doing extensive research and teaching there. Dr. Morris spent two years in Africa with the PeaceCorps, where he met his wife, Lita. This winter they welcomed a baby boy into their family. Dr. Morris's interests include basketball, golf, hiking and travel. ![]() |
